Privacy information

PDF files and processing

Merge PDF, Add Page Numbers, and PDF Info read selected PDF files in your browser. The included processing code does not send PDF bytes to a PDF4.IN processing endpoint. Merge and page numbering create results in browser memory; PDF Info reads document properties and selectable text locally. This describes the tool code and does not control your browser, operating system, or network provider.

Temporary data and browser storage

While a tool is open, the browser may hold file bytes and generated results in memory or temporary object URLs. The tool directory saves favorite and recent tool identifiers in local browser storage. The tools do not intentionally store PDF contents or filenames in that storage. Downloaded files follow your browser and device settings. Closing a page is not a claim of forensic erasure.

Website and hosting data

When you visit, the website host receives requests for pages and assets. Cloudflare may process connection and security information such as IP address, requested URL, browser details, and request time under its service settings and policies. PDF4.IN does not run analytics or advertising on this release. The hosting provider's logs and retention are controlled by that provider and may change.

PDF4.IN is independently operated from Surat, Gujarat, India – 394510. This is a location, not a postal address for documents.

Contact and privacy questions

For support or privacy questions, email [email protected]. Inbound forwarding has been tested, but delivery and inbox placement depend on mail providers; a message may be filtered as spam. Do not attach PDFs, passwords, or confidential content.

Scope

This notice covers only the three tools named above and the static pages served by PDF4.IN. Other development tools are not part of this service and are not described here.
